Class Categories
Gymnastics
Our recreational gymnastics classes are divided into three categories:
-
Beginners or school age classes in the following four age groups:
-
5 - 6 year olds (1 Hour per week)
-
6 - 7 1/2 years (1 1/2 Hours per week)
-
7 - 9 years (1 1/2 hours per week)
-
9 and up (1 1/2 hours per week)
-
Intermediate or special school age classes in the following 2 age groups:
-
4 - 7 years (90 minutes)
-
8 and up (90 minutes)
-
Advanced or Jets Plus classes into the following age groups:
-
6 - 9 years (120 minutes)
-
10 and up (120 minutes)
Age groups are used to introduce gymnastic skills because of the different physical, mental, emotional and social levels of the children. We have found the breakdowns above to work best for our program.
Cheer Tumbling Classes
Cheer Tumbling classes have been restructured to group students by skill level rather than age. There are now three levels of cheer tumbling ranging from Novice to Advanced (Levels 1-3 respectively). This
change will help make each class more efficient by having a specified curriculum per class instead of teaching every level at once.
Levels 2 & 3 are placement groups, therefore you must go through an evaluation before entering these classes. Evaluations have already been completed for those who are in the Summer Program; if you are unsure of your level, please call the gym at 856-273-2822.
One of the biggest changes within the cheer tumble structure will be scheduling. For example, Level 1 (Novice) Classes will have twice the time on trampoline to prepare them for the higher-end skills being taught in the Intermediate Class (Level 2).
Make-ups can be done at your level or lower (no one may jump up a level to make-up a class). Just remember that if you are a level 3 and you decide to make-up in a level 1 group, YOU WILL BE DOING LEVEL 1 SKILLS FOR THAT HOUR!!
If you have any questions or concerns, please call the gym at

Trampoline Classes
The newest addition to our curriculum is the Trampoline Program. This program is designed to teach individuals proper technique while performing skills on different types of trampolines.
